William "Bill" Lewis Delis passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016 in New Orleans 
after a long illness with Parkinson disease.

He was born on December 4, 1942 in Cleveland, OH to the late Lewis Delis and 
Margaret Albrecht Delis. 
Bill was married for 29 years to his beloved wife, Marsha Rackow Delis, 
daughter of LeOwen Rackow and Joyce Reed Rackow. 
He was the loving stepfather of Blake Stabenow (Lacy) and Brittany Neptun 
(Chris), and the proud grandfather of Abigail and Anika Neptun, and Declan 
Stabenow. He was the brother of the late Robert Delis.

Bill graduated from Bay High School in Bay Village, OH in 1960. He then 
graduated from Purdue University in 1965 with a Bachelor degree in Chemical 
Engineering and a Master of Science in Industrial Administration.

A memorial gathering for friends and family will be held at St. John's Lutheran 
Church in Lena, IL on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM.

A private interment will be at Richland Salem Lutheran Cemetery in McConnell, 
IL.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Bill to be made 
to Church of the King, 22205 Little Creek Rd., Mandeville, LA 70471, 
referencing the William Delis Memorial. Memorial donations will benefit the 
Church of the King New Orleans St. Charles Avenue campus.
