DUPONT, LAWRENCE EDWARD, JR.

Dr. Lawrence Edward DuPont Jr. passed away peacefully at home in Covington, La. 
on July 20, 2016 at 89 years young. 

“Larry” was a native of Plaquemines La. and attended St. John the Evangelist 
before Serving in the Navy during WWII. 
After attending LSU he went on to graduate from Loyola School of Dentistry in 
1952, then settled and practiced in  Gretna, La. for 40 years. 

Preceded in death by parents Ruth Marionneaux DuPont and Lawrence E. Dupont Sr. 

Survived by former spouse Gloria DuPont Terrebonne and 7 children; Lawrence E. 
DuPont III (Kathy), Dr. David DuPont ( Elaine), Diana Busiere (Butch), Richard 
DuPont (Robin), William DuPont(Deanne), Terese Rachal (Michael), and  Gloria 
Clerkin (Gerard), 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. 

Services will be held on Aug. 3, 2016 at St. Jane de Chantal Church in  Abita 
Springs. 
Visitation from 9-11 AM with a mass to follow.
