James Lloyd Gaffney Jr. “Whitey” passed away Tuesday morning June 28, 2016 at 
Louisiana Heart Hospital in Lacombe, LA at the age of 73. 

He was a native of New Orleans, LA and lived in Lacombe for 43 years. 

He worked at Boland Marine and Boh Bros. Construction Company. He was also 
known as a jack-of-all-trades. James was a member of the Pile Drivers and 
Boiler Makers Union. 

Loving husband of Linda Gaffney for 52 years. Devoted father of James Lloyd 
Gaffney III, Tammy Marie Gaffney Willard, Darlene Gaffney Fisher, and the late 
Julie Gaffney Sherdian. 
Brother of the late John Gerald Gaffney. 
Grandfather of Gary Jason Willard Jr, Wade Timothy Willard, Amanda Rose 
Gaffney, Rebecca Ann Gaffney, Samantha Elizabeth Faughn, Dylan Scott Faughn. 
Great Grandfather of Noah Logan Barringer and James Ellis Clement III, and two 
blessed great grandchildren soon to arrive.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on 
Saturday July 9, 2016 From 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at The First Pentecostal 
Church of Slidell, 388 Robert Blvd Slidell, LA 70458. 

With fellowship immediately following.
