She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Merlyn Emile Juncker; son, Donald Merlyn Juncker; and parents, Edna Vix Schech and Victor F. Schech. Sister of the late Shirley Goldate and her husband O.P. “Bud” Goldate. Loving mother of Deborah Juncker Olsen (James), Sandra Juncker and Kurt David Juncker (Darlene). Beloved grandmother of Jaime Olsen South (Matthew), Kelly Olsen McGehee (Kyle), Joseph Raymond Zierhut (Lindsey), Zachary Taylor, Lyndsay R. Taylor, Megan Juncker, Alana Juncker and Daniel Juncker. Great-grandmother of Katelin and Addison South, Liam and Cooper McGehee, Ivy Zierhut, Ava Marie Whisnant and Haleigh R. Taylor. Resident of Metairie, Louisiana and retired with her late husband to Diamondhead, Mississippi, where she resided for twenty-three years. She was most recently a resident of Windsor Senior Living in Mandeville, Louisiana. Elizabeth was known to her friends as “Betty” and her grandchildren and great- grandchildren as “Gammy”. Betty was a devoted hairdresser, and enjoyed gardening, golf, card clubs and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of the Sassy Ladies of Diamondhead Red Hatters, and served as President of the Diamondhead VFW Ladies Auxilary Post 2880 (2002-2003). Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 5, 2016, and a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1 N. Marigold, Covington, LA 70433. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1 N. Marigold Drive, Covington, LA 70433 or Lutheran Church of the Pines, 309 Highway 90, Waveland, Mississippi. ===================
