Shelly Ann Kent passed away in her sleep Saturday morning, July 9, 2016 at the 
age of 45. 

She was born in New Orleans and has lived on the Northshore for the last 20 
years. Shelly worked as an insurance agent for 20 years with C. J. Ladner State 
Farm Insurance Agency in Covington. 

Beloved Daughter of Kathleen D. Kent and the late Daniel Charles Kent. 
Her undying love will remain with her two daughters Brittany Lynn Kent and 
Danielle Anamarie Harris. 
Loving fiancé of Ryan Weber for the last 15 years. Devoted Sister of Stacey 
Kent Jacob and husband Larry, and Scott Kent and wife Stacey. Loving Nanny to 
Toni Marie and Cameron “her Snooka” Jacob.
 She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many lifelong 
friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Serenity 
Funeral Home, 20419 Hwy. 36, Covington, LA. on Saturday morning, July 16 at 
11:30. Visitation from 10:30 till service time. 

A private interment will be held by the family at a later time.

Veterans Blvd. Suite 160, Metairie, LA 70005. Please note on check “in honor of 
Shelly Kent.”
