Senorita “Skinnya” Reimonenq passed away unexpectedly on Friday afternoon, July 
22, 2016 at the age of 37. 

Skinnya loved crafting, cooking, crabbing and fishing, but most of all loved 
spending time with her children, family, and friends. 

She was the loving wife of Shelby Reimonenq for over 17 years. Devoted mother 
of Malik, Maliyah, Peter, Paul, Mariam, Tirzah, Jazarah, Israel, Salome, 
Zipporah, Tobias, Shemaiah, and Anjanai. 
Daughter of Althea Maria Fairley and Griffin Willie Batiste. Sister of Tricia 
Hart, Tamica Frick, Rahsha Batiste, Kiyoka Guzman, Jimmecia Guzman, and Mioshi 
Batiste, Wendell Fairley, LaGriffin Mercadel, Lance Mercadel, Griffin Batiste 
III, and Lionel Mercadel. 
She also leaves behind her special friend, Sheila Richardson and a host of 
aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian 
Burial on Monday, August 1, 2016 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 
28088 Main Street, Lacombe at 11:00 a.m. 
Visitation at the church on Monday beginning at 9:00 a.m. 

Interment immediately following at Bayou Lacombe Cemetery in Lacombe, LA. 

Arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Covington, LA.
