Donald Carlo Schiro passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2016 in Rio Blanco 
County, CO. 
He was born on January 30, 1943 in Madisonville, LA to Alice Hayno Sharp and 
the late Theodore Schiro.

Don was the loving father of Donna Schiro. He was the proud grandfather of 
Jeremy Walley, Jared Walley, and Justin Walley (Sarah). Don was looking forward 
to the birth of his great-granddaughter, Layla Grace. 
He was the brother of Linda Peters. Don is survived by numerous nieces, 
nephews, and cousins. 

He will be dearly missed by his many friends at the Covington-Vincent Airport.

Don was the recently retired president and business agent of the Operating 
Engineers Local Union # 406. He was a Master of the Royal Secret of the 32 
Degree of the ancient and accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry with Lodge 
Etoile Polaire residing in New Orleans, LA.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at E.J. Fielding 
Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, August 6, 
2016 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until service time. 

Interment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Covington, LA.
