Otto Raymond “Ray” Shultz,  age 85, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Tuesday, 
July 19,2016.

Otto was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Evelyn Pack Shultz, son; 
Andy Shultz, grandson; Wayne Abney and great grandson; Michael France. 

He is survived by his children; Otto Raymond Shultz Jr. and wife Terri Shultz, 
daughters; Freda and husband Christopher Franz Sr. and Judy Estelle Abney, 
Grandchildren; Mark Abney, Connie France and husband Mike, Otto Raymond Shultz 
III and wife Jennifer, Crystal Shultz, Randie Bankston and husband Andrew, 
Christopher Franz Jr. and wife Melinda, Great-Grandchildren; Collin France, 
Ashton France, Brittany, Hannah, Henry and Logan Bankston, Austin and Ariella 
Heintz(Evan), Christopher Franz III and Great Great Grandchildren; Aubree and 
Camden Heintz . 

Brother of Thomas Tolbert and William Francis Shultz.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served in Korea. He was an 
Electronic Engineer for Lockheed Martin. He was a 15 year volunteer for 
S.K.I.P. of La. and a Boy Scout leader for many years.

He liked building model cars, had a great passion and love for his family, was 
‘goofy’ and gave generously to anyone in need.

Graveside Services will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST, 
Slidell, LA  on Friday, August 5, 2015 at 12:00 O’Clock Noon, followed by a 
Memorial Service at  Celebration Church, 57030 Allen Road, Slidell,La. at 1:00 
o’clock.
