Connie was born July 8th 1948, in Grand Forks, North Dakota to Eve Laverdure Rose and the late Herbert Rose. She spent the majority of her childhood traveling along with her family to different cities and towns and grew to love life on the road. As an adult, her passion for travel and desire for grand adventure only deepened. Her bags were always packed and her mind always on the next fascinating sight to behold. The train was her ticket to freedom and a place of absolute solitude. The mountains, the rivers, the oceans and the valleys were her home and here she found peace and bonded with her children and grandchildren, who she loved greatly. So many adored her throughout her years, but a touch of serendipity brought her to meet the love of her life, Emile “Bud” Reimmuth, who she spent 24 wonderful years with hand in hand. They made a life together, eventually setting up residence in Diamondhead, Mississippi where they lived happily until her passing. Connie loved life and lived it with passion, treasuring each moment as if it were her final. She possessed a contagious smile and a fiery spirit that will not soon be forgotten. “To Know her was to love her”. She was a friend to all and never knew a stranger, being sure to make each and every person that stepped in her life feel welcome and significant. She was a paradigm for hope and never allowed her illness to hold her back or define her as a person, only to motivate her to be stronger and continue on. Those that survive and hold many cherished memories include: The love of her life- Emile “Bud” Reimmuth. Mother- Eve Laverdure Rose. Children- Holly Arthur and significant other John Trahan; Chad Arthur and wife Nicole Lassiter Arthur; A brother- Lonnie Rose and wife Terina Spell Rose; A sister- Debra Rose Spell and husband Paul Spell; Two grandchildren- Cailyn and Collin Arthur. Nieces and nephews- Preston Rose, Jessickah Rose Ross, Lonnie Rose Jr., Lindsey Rose, Dara and Summer Spell; Great Nieces and Nephew- Sage Rose, Liam and Cameron Ross, Chris, Caron and Autumn Jarrell, and Jeremy Zane Vigreux II. Her beautiful spirit will remain forever in our hearts and not a single day will pass when we all do not draw strength from her fantastic legacy.
