Carly was born to Renee Colomb and Jerry Palmer on February 25, 1981, in New Orleans, LA. Carly was a beautiful and faithful woman, whose kindness, grace, humor, and spunk will be missed by all of those fortunate enough to know her. She touched many, many lives during her short time here on earth and left a path of light and love in her wake. Knowing her for even a brief few minutes was to know a beautiful woman who personified joy, grace, love and selflessness. She valued her Faith, family and close personal relationships above all things, and she truly had a love for all of mankind, known and unknown. Carly was raised in Mandeville, LA and graduated from Mandeville High School in 1999 where played varsity soccer. Following High School Carly was a member of a traveling theater troupe (In Sync), based in Minneapolis Minnesota. In Sync spread the Lord’s message through performances throughout the United States and Carly created many enduring friendships that became family. Following this, she attended Southeastern Louisiana University where she graduated with a BS in Human Resource Management. Carly then moved to Asheville, NC where she met her husband, Cameron. Soon after their engagement, Carly and Cam returned to their Louisiana roots and moved to Mandeville, LA in the spring of 2015. They both embarked on careers in Healthcare with Ochsner Health System where Carly was most recently a Senior Clinical Recruiter. Carly and Cameron were married in a beautiful ceremony on November 7, 2015 in Mandeville, LA. Carly is survived by her loving husband, William Cameron Bigler; mother Renee Colomb; brother Thomas Kambur; sister-in-law Brittany Kambur; cousin Sarah Eddy; sisters Jessica and Katie Palmer; and her Puggle Suri. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Carly was preceded in death by her beloved brother Erik Lafont; adoptive father, Tom Kambur; and her maternal and paternal grandparents. She will be greatly missed here on earth, but she is rejoicing in heaven where she has been made whole again, by her lord and savior Jesus Christ. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Church of the King Annex, 22205 Little Creek Rd.
