Sue Ellen Bourcq passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at her home in 
Mandeville, LA. 
She was born on October 2, 1944 in New Orleans, LA to the late Gratian Bourcq 
and Evelyn Barton Bourcq.

Sue is survived by her beloved husband, J. I. Fernando Serra Bourcq. She was 
the sister of the late Patricia B. Hall, Robert “Bobby” Bourcq, and Blaise 
Bourcq. Sue was the proud aunt of Olin Burr, III, and his wife, Kathlen, of 
Denham Springs, LA, Timothy Oaks of Gilbert, AZ, Michelle Weinger of Rancho 
Santa Fe, CA, Denise Merlone and her husband, Peter, of San Francisco, CA, 
Michael G. Bourcq, Scott G. Bourcq, Karen B. Tapia, Melisa B. Grant, and the 
late Patrick C. Hall.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at E.J. Fielding 
Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, October 15, 
2016 at 2:00PM with visitation from 12:00 Noon until service time.
