Born in Greenwood, MS on March 27th 1925 to Carl McQuinn, Sr. and Eula Pace McQuinn. He was a World War II and Korean War Veteran. Also a graduate of Mississippi State University. He was proudly employed by Kellogg Sales Company for 36 years. He lived for many years in River Ridge, LA and once retired, moved to Covington, LA. He was an avid golfer and an ardent New Orleans Saints fan. He attended the first Saints game of the franchise in 1967. He is preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Rose Miley McQuinn. He leaves behind his wife Ramona Graves Buhrmester McQuinn, his children, Donna Crozat, Robert W. McQuinn (Doris) and Barbara McKee, and his brother, William McQuinn. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Matthew Crozat, Jeremy Crozat and Carrie Crozat, Janet Smith, Amy Welch, B.J. McQuinn. Also surviving Carl are Ramona’s children, Frederick Buhrmester (Bridget), Rebecca Buhrmester (deceased), Patricia White (John), Paul Buhrmester (Edna), and nine grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, August 12, 2016 at: 1100 AM with visitation on Friday beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. McQuinn to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
