Martha Frances O’Dowd, 84, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 
2016, in Slidell. 

Beloved wife of the late John E. O’Dowd Jr.;
Mother of Agnes Faucheux (Donald), J. Kevin O’Dowd, Fr. Dung Nguyen, Antoinette 
S. Baudry, and the late Michael O’Dowd and Rev. Fr. Michael Joseph Vinh Noc 
Nguyen;
Daughter of the late Anton and Tony Zahn;
Sister of Margaret Zahn and the late Vlasta Zahn Krenek and Raymond Zahn;

Also survived by ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A native of Hungerford, Texas, and a resident of Slidell for the past 23 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1050 Robert 
Blvd, Slidell, LA 70458, on Wednessday, August 31, 2016, at 10:30am.

Friends may visit at the church on Wednesday beginning at 9:30am.
