Beverly Schneider Hightower-Picou passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016 in 
Metairie, LA. She was born on February 13, 1928 in New Orleans, LA to the late 
Louis Schneider and Ruth Morin Schneider.

Beverly was the loving mother of William Hightower III (Cathy), Louis 
Hightower, and George Hightower (Beryl). She was the proud grandmother of Aimee 
H. Toreno (Mike), William Hightower IV, Heidi Hightower (Adam Mendenhall), Luke 
Hightower, Michael Hightower (Luz), Christopher Hightower (Jessica St. 
Germain), Melissa H. Jacob (Rene), and Matthew Hightower. Beverly was the 
great-grandmother of Isabelle and Blakely Hightower, and Lucy and Mia Jacob. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband William Hightower, 
Jr., her second husband, Allie Picou, her brother, Vernon Schneider, and 
sister, Eloise Bergeron.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral 
Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 
2:00 PM with visitation from 12:00 Noon until service time. Interment will 
follow Mass at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Covington, LA.
