Dorothy ‘Dottie’ Wingerter Toranto, age 72, of Slidell, LA, passed away on 
Sunday, August 28, 2016. 

Beloved wife of Rudy W. Toranto, Sr. for the past 54 years.
Mother of Rudy Toranto, Jr.(Kim), Mark Toranto(Rhonda), Jay Toranto(Erin) and 
Dawn Cuccia(Joe).

Daughter of the late Philip Wingerter, Sr. and Dorothy Gomila WIngerter.
Sister of Philip Wingerter, Jr., Jack Wingerter and James Wingerter.

Also survived by 12 grandchildren, Gabrielle, Samantha, Julianna, Sophia, 
Rudy,III, Alyssa, Corynne, Tyler, Emily, Nico, Vincent, Andrea, and two great 
grandchildren, Brooklyn and Jameson.

She was a very loving mother and caring grandmother, affectionately known as 
“Grandy”.

She was a longtime resident of New Orleans, a graduate of St. Mary’s Dominican 
High School and a resident of Slidell for the past 23 years.

She was employed at Southeast Dental Labortories as a Certified Dental 
Technician.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral
Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 400 Westchester Blvd., Slidell, LA 
on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 01:00 P.M.

Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation at the church on Thursday after 10:00 A.M. until funeral time.
