She is preceded in death by her husband, Charled R. DeArk II. She is survived by her children, Sherrie Fleming, (Phillip M. Fleming), of Mandeville, LA, Charles DeArk III, (April DeArk) of Mandeville, LA, Lisa Wright, (Kenny Wright) of McMinnville, Tennessee, Teresa Walden, (Ryan Walden) of Smyrna, Tennessee and Timothy McClanahan, (Michelle McClanahan) of Los Angeles, California. Grandchildren, Clint Durrett, of New Orleans, LA, Lauren Wesley, Ponchatoula, LA, Philip Fleming, New Orleans, LA, Charley Rose DeArk, of Mandeville, LA and Kimberly Wilson, Slidell, LA; great-grandchildren Sean Wesley, Eli Wesley, Jessica Wright, Marcus Wright, Joshua Jacobs, Caleb Jacobs, Madelyn Wilson, Abigail Wilson and Katie McClanahan. Ann was a gifted seamstress, baker and built a successful career in sales for which she was honored many times. She enjoyed spending time with the family and was an avid sports fan for all sports, especially women’s basketball, a sport she played in her youth. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home in Covington, Louisiana on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M., services to follow at 11:00 A.M. In Lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation in Ann’s memory. ===================
