She entered this world on July 13, 1998 in Metairie, LA, born to Stacy and Dwayne Gref. Claudia was the most outgoing, rambunctious, spontaneous, loving person you could ever meet. She constantly lived life to the fullest and then some! She was beautiful on the inside and out, the kind of person to leave her mark on everyone who ever was lucky enough to know and love her. Claudia had more friends than anyone could know what to do with. She drew in friends like a magnet and stayed close through her loyalty, kindness, generosity, and love. She had a lifelong passion for sports, was an active member of the Port St Joe High School ROTC and involved in just about every charitable endeavor she came across, including her final act of donating her organs through Life Quest Organ Recovery Services. Our family finds solace that someone is now able to see the world through our Claudia’s eyes and someone else is now able to love others through our baby’s big heart. Claudia is survived by her loving parents, Stacy Gref, Buddy Jacobs, Dwayne Gref, and Melisa Gref; three sisters, Krista, Brianne, Miranda; three brothers, Gary, Dwayne, and Gavin; step-siblings, Wes (Christy) , Lindsey (Terrance), Paul, and David; brothers-in-law, Chris and Trubias; maternal grandparents, Jay and Peaches Saacks and Sandra Saacks and Eric Deshautraux; paternal grandparents, Charles and Kathryn Gref and Ginger and Donald Rayburn; and special grandmother, Martha Trawick; aunts and uncles, Sherry and Kleo Blue, Justin Langman (Jessica), Doug Gref, Derrick and Raechelle Jones, Nita Massey and Hot Rod; godmother, Stephanie Machado Barto (Jason); nieces and nephews, Curtis, Alli, Sophie, William, Layla, Tristin, Trentin, Brantley, and Corbin; cousins, Sydney and Brayden Blue, Devin Gref, Elijah, Ethan, Arianna, and Arabella Jones; and numerous friends. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the funeral service at First Baptist church of Chalmette, 305 E St Bernard Hwy, Chalmette, LA 70043 on Monday September 19, 2016 at 6:00 pm Friends may call after 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family request that you make a donation in Claudia’s name to Wounded Warrior Project and Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency. ===================
