He was born on November 16, 1941 in Bishop, CA and raised by his parents, the late Dan Lounsbury and Lillian Seybold Lounsbury. Clint is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy Clark Lounsbury. He was the loving father of Raymond E. Louque (Denise) and Theresa L. Stein (Steven). Clint was the proud grandfather of Nicolas Louque, Tyler Stein, and Cameron Stein. He was the brother of Dale Johnson (Diane), Charlotte Miller, Joyce Sihler, Bill Foster, and the late Wilaene Kurth. Clint is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be especially missed by his nephew, Philip Lee. Clint served three tours in Vietnam (67-68, 69-70, 70-71) as an Army Ranger, Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol (LRRP) and a Tunnel Rat. He retired from a career in the United States Army in 1987. He was highly decorated. Clint was an active member of the American Legion Post 16. He was an avid supporter and fundraiser for the Wounded War Heroes. Clint believed deeply in their mission to help the men and woman returning from combat. Clint dedicated his life to helping others and gave more than he ever received. He was loved by his family, friends, and community and will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to the Graveside Service at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Rd., Slidell, LA 70460 on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 2:00 PM.
