Troy Gerald McLain passed away on Friday September 16, 2016 at the age of 77. 
Troy a lifelong resident of Covington, LA.  

Troy is preceded in death by his parents Donice McLain and Marie Thigpen 
McLain, and a brother Earl D. McLain. 

Troy leaves behind his loving spouse of 31 years Paula R. Cox, son Terry McLain 
of Covington, brother Barney D. McLain (Beth) of Covington, LA, sisters Jo Ann 
McLain of Covington, Sharon Plaisance (Bob) of Baton Rouge, LA, Karen Moore of 
River Ridge, La and sister-in-law Del Rita McLain of Lafayette, LA. 
Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Troy worked for many years (sic) Johnny and Jan Smith and Chris Jean (Johnny F. 
Smith Trucking Co.)  

Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Wednesday 
September 21, 2016 at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 
Lee Road, Covington, LA. Friends may call after 5:00 pm.
