Then on Thursday, September 8, 2016, she passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at her home at the age of 58. She was a selfless, hardworking Christian woman who loved her family so much. She loved vacationing with her family. Carolyn loved going to church and witnessing to others about God and His unfailing love. She was the beloved mother of Rebecca D. Jarrell (Ricky), Harry L. Walden, Jr. (Lauren), Theresa N. Walden, Amanda M. Walden and preceded in death by Rachel R. Davidson. She was the loving grandmother of Ricky, Chris, (Chrissy), Daniel, Joshua, Trace, Jeremiah, Lucas, Scarlett, Claire and Caleb. She was the loving great- grandmother of Caislee. She was the beloved sister of Ann (Vaughn) Walden and Boyett D. Riley, Jr. She was the loving aunt to many nephews and nieces. She was the beloved sister- in-law of Glinda Holcombe. She was loved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Walden, Sr.; her mother, Clara N. Riley; her dad, Boyett D. Riley, Sr.; her niece, Victoria Walden; and her nephew, Chris Holcombe. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Collins Blvd. Baptist Church, 1501 Collins Blvd., Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 12:00 noon with visitation at church on Tuesday beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Barker McManus Cemetery. ===================
