Barbara Smith Sohl passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday, September 21, 
2016, at the age of 90. 
She was a native of New Orleans, LA., and a lifelong resident of Slidell. 

Barbara was the daughter of the late Leonard and Lucinda Cline Smith and 
Devoted wife of the late Arthur Joseph Sohl. She was the loving mother of 
Donald Wayne Sohl and his late wife, Darlene McCullough, Karen Sohl Guillory 
and her husband Arnaud. Devoted Grandmother of Aaron Sohl and wife Lori, 
Bradley Guillory and wife Celia, Christi Guillory Barbot and her husband Jason. 
Great Grandmother of Michael Sohl, Dylan Sohl, Christian Bailes, Brighton 
Guillory, Chloe Guillory, Evan Barbot, Hailey Barbot and Mason Barbot. Sister 
of the late Herbert Smith and his wife Rita. 

In lieu of flowers send donations to The American Cancer Society.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 
First United Methodist Church, 433 Erlanger Avenue, Slidell, LA. 70458, on 
Wednesday September 28, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation starting at 10:30 a.m. 

Reception immediately following at 369 E. Suncrest Loop, Slidell.
