Gary Paul Sprague passed away at his home on Tuesday morning, September 20, 
2016, at the age of 54. 
He was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, lived in Jefferson Parish for over 20 
years, and resided in Covington for the last 8 years. 

Gary worked as a Vice President Business Processing Consultant for over 20 for 
Whitney Bank. 

Son of Donald and Patricia Sprague, Loving husband of Maritza F. Sprague for 20 
years. 
His deepest pride was reserved for his daughter Katelynn, age 19, now a 
sophomore majoring in mass communications at the University of Louisiana at 
Lafayette, and son Cameron, age 17, an award-winning musician at Covington High 
School. 

He leaves behind his sister Connie Tappert now married to Dave and his brother 
Richard, who lives in Seattle with his wife Stowe and their three children. He 
is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 
Christ of the King Lutheran Church located at 1001 West Esplanade Avenue, 
Kenner, LA. Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. 
A Celebration of Life will take place immediately following at the church in 
Fellowship Hall.
