Mr. Joseph Louis Fujko died peacefully on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 in 
Slidell, Louisiana at the age of 82.

Mr. Fujko (Joe) is survived by his wife Deloris Olson Fujko, his daughters, 
Susan Reynolds (Paul), Heidi Fujko and Jodi Rotolo (Keith), grandchildren, 
Megan Reynolds, John Reynolds, Ryan Rotolo, Katherine Rotolo, Lance Whatley II 
and Samuel Rotolo, siblings, Joanna Grey, Sally Evans and Penny Credille 
(Randy).

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Tracy Fujko Whatley, and his parents, 
Joseph R. Fujko and Evelyn Carey Fujko.

Joe was born on January 10th, 1934 in Menomonie Wisconsin. He married his high 
school sweetheart, Dee, in 1954 in Bayfield, Wisconsin and was married 11 days 
before the United States Army deployed him to Korea for 22 months. After 
discharging from the Army, he earned his bachelor’s degree from Northland 
College in Ashland, Wisconsin. In 1961 he joined Wausau Insurance Companies as 
a Claims Supervisor, where he remained for 34 years until his retirement in 
1995 in Slidell, Louisiana.

Joe was an active member of Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Slidell, Louisiana 
and was a proud supporter of the Louisiana chapters of AA.

His proudest moments were spent with his children and grandchildren.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 
Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 57210 Allen Road, Slidell, LA 70461 on Thursday, 
October 20, 2016 at 11:00 A.M.

Interment will follow at the Southeast LA Veterans Cemetery, Slidell, LA at 
2:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 
Joseph Fujko Fund, 57210 Allen Road, Slidell, LA 70461.
