HUFFT, VAL LOUIS 
February 1, 1923 - October 11, 2016

Val Louis Hufft passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 in Mandeville, La. 

He was born on February 1, 1923 in New Orleans, La. to the late Valentine L. 
Hufft and Johanna Ohler Hufft.

Val was the loving father of Ron H. Hufft (Julie Hufft daughter-in-law and 
caregiver), and the late Val H. Hufft. He was the proud grandfather to Erin 
Nicole Hufft. Val was also preceded in death by his sisters Clara Munck, Nellie 
Lynn, Anora Nagel, Gladys Vieages, and Myrtle Pratinni.

Val was self-motivated and climbed the ladder of success from limited means to 
a successful career in sales, and as Vice President of Sans Souci Lingerie. 
However, if you wanted to strike up a conversation with him, he would be more 
than happy to talk about his years playing baseball in high school, American 
Legion, and semi-pro. It was his second love, only to family.

A private memorial will be held by the family.
