ANITA MAE MILLER, 84, a resident of Slidell since 1974, passed away on Friday, 
October 14, 2016, in Slidell.

Anita was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Miller, her parents, 
Barney and Ira Phillips, one son, Steven Miller, a daughter, Mary Lou Ponthieux, 
and a stepson, Delmon Miller.

She is survived by seven children: Susan Van, Debbie Troyani, Harold “Sonny” 
Miller Jr., Donna Thompson, Joy Helmke, Melinda Miller, Jimmy Miller; one 
brother, Jimmy Joe Phillips;

Twenty three grandchildren, and twenty seven great-grandchildren.

Anita was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness on January 4, 2014, and was a 
faithfull servant of Jehovah to the end.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 19, at Kingdom Hall of 
Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1475 Fremeaux Ave in Slidell, at 11:00am.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at Forest Lawn 
Cemetery, 1751 Gause Blvd West, in Slidell, at 12:30pm.
