Ernie Jenkins Perritt, age 88 of Covington, LA went to be with the Lord on 
Saturday, October 15, 2016. 
Born, Saturday, July 14, 1928 in Covington, LA to James and Olivia Jenkins. 

She was a native of the Blond-Enon area. A loving homemaker for many years she 
also retired from Rabenhorst Funeral Home. She was a longtime resident of Baton 
Rouge and was member of Florida Blvd. Baptist Church. She spent the last ten 
years of her life in Covington, LA and was a member of First Baptist Church of 
Covington’s Senior Choir and Deborah Sunday School Class.

Survived by her Daughter - Rhonda Courtney Montgomery, and Son - Dennis E. 
Courtney (Barbara), Grandsons - Chad Montgomery, Christopher Montgomery 
(Shirley), Curtis Montgomery (Gina), Granddaughter - Desiree Courtney, Great 
Grandsons - Tyler Montgomery, Jace Montgomery, and Eli Montgomery.

She was predeceased by her Father - James Jenkins, Mother - Olivia Jenkins, 
Sisters - Ruby Haydel, Tessie Galloway, Versie Sharp, and Brother - Worthie 
Jenkins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM on 
Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue 
Covington, LA 70433.

Visitation on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 12:00 PM to service time.

Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Covington, LA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Power Ministries Chapel, 14701 
Lily Orchard Rd., Moss Point, MS 39562 (a homeless ministry).
