Verna Lee Revere Thompson passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at the age 
of 86.

Beloved wife of the late James H. Thompson. Loving mother of James A. Thompson 
II, David W. Thompson and Jeffrey A. Thompson. Daughter of the late Ora Jenkins 
Revere and Richard Bud Revere. Sister of the late Jane Holliday, Margie Revere, 
Ella Mae Leonard, Wilson Revere, Richard Revere, Marlin Revere, Melvin Revere 
and Alton Revere. Grandmother of Erica Alexandra, Elliott Reid, Darby Lanell 
and Derron James Thompson.

Mrs. Thompson was a native and lifelong resident of the Covington area.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. 
Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, 
October 14, 2016 at 2:00 PM with visitation on Friday beginning at 12:00 noon.

Interment will follow in Allison Cemetery.
