Preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Lloyd Francis Fridley and a son Warner Francis Fridley. She is survived by 2 daughters, Phala Powell (Robert), Andrea Gremillion (Paul), 2 sons, Lyle Fridley (Debra), Wendell Fridley (Sharon), 13 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Sister of Leroy LeCamus, Nola Mae Dugas, the late Shelton LeCamus, Effie Thibodeaux, Skirty LeCamus and Odette LeCamus. She retired from Sears after 28 years, first in the catalog dept. and then as a Loss Prevention Specialist. She was very active in her church parish, teaching CCD classes to children, doing accounting for the yearly fair, and performed many other jobs, her favorite being leading the Charismatic Prayer Group at St. Cletus. She then joined the prayer group at St. Genevieve in Slidell when she moved across the lake to be with her family. She was a member of the SilverSteppers Dance Group. After God and family, her first love was dance. She loved to play cards, spend time with her family, especialy her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a very social person, who could talk to anyone, and loved meeting people. She wanted to help everyone she met and found ways to do so, all the way to her death. She deeply grieved the recent loss of her husband and the unexpected loss of her first born. Believing in Gods goodness and the truth of the resurrection, she eagerly anticipated being reunited with them. A private night of rememberence will be held Thursday for the immediate family. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Genevieve Catholic Church,58203 Hwy. 433, Slidell, LA on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 11:00 A.M.
