Sara was a native and life resident of Mandeville, LA. She was born on Wednesday, February 20, 1935 to Cecile and Horatious Morgan. The beloved wife of William J. Griffin, Jr. for 63 years. She is survived by her daughter - Jill Ann Farrish and her son-in-law - Gibb Farrish; one grandson - Griffin Gibb Farrish; five sisters - Victoria Thomas, Patricia Zuber, Rose Patterson, Lucinda Manint, and Gloria Morgan; one brother - William Morgan; and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister - Marie Taylor and one brother - Charles Morgan. Sara’s greatest joy in life was being a wife to William, mother to Jill and a grandmother to Griffin. She was very proud of Jill and Griffin and thought they were absolutely perfect. She adored her son-in-law Gibb as if he was her own son. She absolutely loved being a sister. Everyone that knew and loved Sara were touched by her magnetic personality with just that perfect touch of being a pepper. Her daughter would especially like to extend a special gratitude to her uncle, Dr. Mack Thomas, who fought for her mom as much as she did. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte Street Mandeville, LA 70448. Visitation at the church on Saturday will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment at the Mandeville City Cemetery will immediately follow mass. ===================
