He is survived by his beloved wife Alison and son Blake Alexander Hoffmann. Son of Mildred M. Hoffmann and the late Jerrel P. Hoffmann; brother of Jerilyn Hoffmann Schmidt (Todd), Jeffrey P. (Florence) Hoffmann, and the late Jerry S. Hoffmann. Jason is also survived by his in-laws, Alexander (Chip) and Claudine Blondeau; brother-in-law, Barret (Julie) Blondeau; and many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends. Jason was a wonderful husband to Alison, and doting new father to Blake. He truly lived life to the fullest each and every day. Jason enjoyed entertaining family and friends, especially boiling crawfish. He also loved to fish and was a dedicated sports fan, mainly of the New Orleans Saints, those LSU Tigers and the New York Yankees. Known by his friends as “Hoffy,” Jason was a true friend, had a heart of gold, and a smile that lit up any room. Anyone that knew him would say his laugh was infectious. He was a bright ray of light, with his big grin and even bigger heart, Jason was truly one of a kind. He will be forever be missed by his family, friends, and the many people he touched with his kindness, generosity, and loving nature. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at 12:00noon on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Mandeville, LA. A wake is scheduled to take place on Friday, November 4, 2016 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home in Covington, LA from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Visiting hours at the church on Saturday will begin at 11:00am. Graveside services at Greenwood Cemetery in New Orleans will follow mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Jason to the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation at www.saveourlake.org ===================
