Tilman McIntyre passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at his home in 
Covington, LA. 

He was born on Tuesday, June 25, 1935 in Blonde, LA to the late Theodore "Sid" 
McIntyre and Edith T. McIntyre. 
Tilman was raised by his aunt and uncle, the late James and Bessie Sharp.

Tilman is survived by his beloved wife, Vivian Davis McIntyre. He was the 
loving father of Carl Bennett, Jr. (Mary Lou), Cynthia Cunningham (Clifford), 
and Dale McIntyre (Tammy). Tilman was the proud grandfather of James Bennett 
(Roxanne) and Sarah Webb (Brad), Scott Guidry (Jamie), Aimee Craft (Clayton), 
and Jaime Smith (Brad), and Lauren, Brad, and Emily McIntyre. Tilman was the 
great-grandfather of Caroline Bennett, Connor Guidry, Jesse Craft, Alexis 
Smith, Caroline Smith and Cambre Webb. He was the brother of the late Nancy 
Fairburn, Levell McIntyre, Houston McIntyre, Claudie McIntyre, Andre Sharpe, 
and Elvie Mae Sharp. Tilman is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and 
cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at E.J. Fielding 
Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Wednesday, November 
30, 2016 at 2:00 PM with Visitation from 12:00 Noon until service time. 

Interment will take place at Fussell Cemetery, Covington, LA.
