Sharon A. Nelson passed from this life on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at the 
age of 77. 
She was a native of Chicago, Illinois, however, resided in Louisiana for the 
past 23 years. 

Beloved wife of the late Donald Nelson. Sharon was a wonderful, loving mother 
to Denise Nelson-Sarver and her son-in-law Michael, world’s greatest Gram to 
Kirstin and Kelli Sarver, sister to Larry McNiff and Carmela. 

All that knew Sharon cherished her kind heart and sense of humor. She was loved 
and will be missed by many.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on 
Monday, November 21, 2016 at Serenity Funeral Home, 20419 Hwy. 36, Covington 
from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. 

A private interment will be held at a later date.
