Travis “Skippy” J. Roberts Sr. was called home on Sunday morning, November 27, 
2016, at the age of 73. 

He was a self-employed Master Plumber, and a Navy Veteran of Veterans of 
Foreign Wars. 
Skippy loved camping, fishing and the holidays. 

He was the husband of the late Betty H. Boudreaux for 7 years and the loving 
companion of Ginger Lane for 15 years. Father of Roxanne Roberts-Carter (Burt 
Jr.), Kevin J. Roberts, Shawn Lane, Janeen (Ably), Veronica (Jimmy), Adam 
(Joe), and the late Travis “Skip” J. Roberts Jr. Grandfather of eighteen and 
Great grandfather of one. 
Brother of Andrea, Debra, Lita, Timothy, Tina, Lisa, Paula, Wanda, Victoria and 
the late Warren “Sammy”, Wayne, Michael “Allen” and Joey. 

Preceded in death by his parents, Warren S. and Juanita Alcantar Roberts. Also, 
survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 
Jefferson Memorial Gardens, 11316 River Road, Saint Rose, LA. at 12:00 p.m. 
Family and friends are meeting at 9:00 a.m. at Rootbeer’s Sports Bar, 2001 
Georgia Ave, Kenner.
