COLON, CHARLES "CHARLIE" P. 

Birth:April 13, 1955  -   Death:January 31, 2017

Charles “Charlie” Paul Colon passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at the 
age of 61. 
He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, lived in Chalmette for 12 years and has 
resided in Bogalusa for the past 8 years. 

Charlie was a nature lover and enjoyed gardening, tending to his flower 
gardens, and caring for his back yard. 

He was a bartender at Bud Rip’s Pub for 15 years. He was the loving companion 
of Catherine “Cathy” Barousse for 24 years and the brother of James “Jimmy” 
Colon of Amite, LA.

A celebration of Charlie’s life will take place at a later time.
