DENAPOLIS, JOSEPH 
March 26, 1940  -  January 19, 2017

Joseph Danna Denapolis, 76, a longtime resident of New Orleans, passed away on 
Thursday, January 19, 2017, in Kenner. 

Preceded in death by his parents; Louis Denapolis Sr and Anna Mae Chaplain; one 
brother Louis Denapolis Jr, a sister: Marilynn Delaune; and a nephew: Louis 
Denapolis III.

He is survived by one sister: Jacklyn Tortorich, a brotherin-law: Harry Delaune 
Sr.; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A native and lifelong resident of New Orleans, Mr. Denapolis graduated from 
Jesuit High School, attended UNO, and was a longtime manager at Tortorici’s 
Restaurant in New Orleans. Mr. Denapolis was also a volunteer at the World War 
II Museum in New Orleans.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
Funeral Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST 
(IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 11:30 
A.M.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 10:30am.

Burial will be in Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery at 1:00pm.
