James Willard Hover, 88, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Monday, January 30, 
2017, in Slidell, Louisiana. 

Beloved husband of Jacqueline Hover;
Father of James Britt Hover (Tracy), Debra Hover Sharff (Dennis), and Kevin 
Ceylon Hover;
Son of the late James William and Eva Pearl Hover;
Brother of Ruby Lovecchio, Stephen Hover, and the late Volney Hover, Della 
Boutwell, Loomis Reynolds, Leah McGuire;
Also survived by two grandchildren: Jesse Hover, Chad Hover; and one great-
grandchild: Stephen Hover. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other 
relatives.

A native of Napoleon, Mississippi, and a resident of Slidell since 1964. He was 
the former owner of Conoco Super Service on Pontchartrain Drive in Slidell.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
Visitation will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN 
FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Thursday evening, February 2, 2017 from 
5:30pm until 7:30pm.

Visitation will also be held on Friday, February 3, 2017, at Pearlington 
Baptist Church, 5487 MS-604, in Pearlington, MS, from 9:30am until 11:00AM.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, at 11:00am, at the Church.

Burial will be in Napoleon Cemetery in Napoleon, MS.
