Joseph A. Lalumia Jr., 72, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Monday, January 9, 
2017, in Slidell. 

Beloved husband of Claudia Mouton Lalumia, and Ann Peuler Lalumia by first 
marriage;
Father of Jennifer Lalumia Brown (Barlow), Jessica Lalumia Duplantis (Casey), 
Rebecca Thibodeaux, Philip Bodet V;
Son of the late Joe Lalumia Sr. and Louise Dalier Rinaldo;
Brother of Keith Lalumia;
Also survived by six grandchildren: Cooper Brown, Kate Duplantis, Claire 
Duplantis, Casey Duplantis Jr., Molly Thibodeaux, Marc Thibodeaux; cousins, 
nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Meghan Thibodeaux.

A longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish and a resident of Slidell for the 
past 23 years, Joe retired from Entergy Corp, was a parishioner of St. Luke the 
Evangelist Church in Slidell, and a lifelong member of the NRA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.

Funeral Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST 
(IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 2:00 P.M.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 12:00 noon.

Memorial Gifts may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, or Good 
Shephard Ministries.
