Mary Emeilie Armiger McVay, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Saturday, January 
28, 2017.

Mother of  Susanne Marie Meyer(Jonathan Bruno) and Lisa Chantel McVay 
Fruhling(Andrew).
Sister of Dolores Pizzolato(Phil), Frank Armiger, Jr.(Linda), and the Evelyn 
Segrave(Frank).
Also survived by 3 grandchildren, Lucas, Lance and Liam.

A native and longtime resident of New Orleans. She retired from Louisiana Power 
and Light after 20 years.
She was a parishioner of Church of the Good Shepard in Madisonville, La.
She was “always the baby of the family”, a strong free spirit, never met a 
stranger, was loved by all who met her and was a kind and loving soul.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral
Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN 
CEMETERY), Slidell, LA  on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 11:00 A.M.

Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation on Tuesday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time.

Donations to American Humane Society americanhumane.org or to Passages Hospice 
preferred, in lieu of flowers.
