Born Wednesday, November 26, 1930 in West Helena, Arkansas to John Fielder Strawn and Gladys Poland Strawn. He was an Air Force Veteran, a graduate of LSU in Electrical Engineering and worked as a Sales Engineer in the Oil Industry. Survived by his Wife - Helen Moore Strawn, Daughter - Karen Beyrau (Timothy), Sons - Michael Robert Strawn (Patricia), James Scott Strawn (Karen), David Fielder Strawn, Granddaughters - Amie Marie Wigginton (Joseph), Rachel Lauren Strawn, Margaret Katherine "Maggie" Beyrau, Lydia Helen Strawn, Grandsons - Lee Michael Strawn, James Philip Strawn, David Maxwell Beyrau, Step-Granddaughter - Justine Crooks, Step-Grandson - Brady Williamson, Great Granddaughters - Emma Grace Wigginton, Ella Claire Wigginton, and Leah Jane Wigginton. He was preceded in death by his Father - John Fielder Strawn, Mother - Gladys Strawn, Brother - Louis Strawn, and Sister - Christine Burch. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 11:00 am on Friday, January 6, 2017 at St. Timothy United Methodist Church, 335 Asbury Dr. Mandeville, LA 70448. Visitation is on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Timothy United Methodist Church. The family is planning a private Interment in the Memorial Garden at St. Timothy following the service.
