He was born on Monday, May 24, 1948 in Huntington, WV and has been a resident of Mandeville, LA since 2014. Graduating from Marshall University during the Vietnam era, he went to serve the United States Army. He found his way to San Francisco and eventually into the Military Police at the Presidio. There he met and married the love of his life, Connie, and together they reared three beautiful children in the tempered climate around San Francisco. Following the death of his soul mate, Daryle focused attention on his children and grandchildren for a while before traveling and visiting exotic cities around the U.S. and the world with his brother-in-law and boat captain Richard Kempe. They finally settled in Mandeville, LA where they made new friends during these last years of Daryle's life. A loving father and proud grandfather, he is survived by three children - Mandy Broce Sebastian (Fil), Sean P. Broce (Virginia) and Erin Broce Holmes (Joe); eight grandchildren - Mateo, Bella, Alexa and Diego Sebastian, Evie and Calvin Broce, Maddy and Mason Holmes; and his faithful brother-in-law- Richard. His Parents and his wife preceded him in death. Daryle's family gathered together in celebration of his life from 5-7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433. Memorial services will also be held in Foster City, CA in the near future. Dates and times to be announced. US Army ===================
