Bonnie L. Carpenter passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 in Covington, LA. 

She was born and raised in Lonestar, MS, and lived in New Orleans for 65 years 
before moving to Covington, LA after Hurricane Katrina. 

Mother of John Carpenter, Janice Geldert, Mark Carpenter and the late Joy 
Patrick, Margie Carr and Paul McKay. Daughter of Willie and Maggie McRee. 
Grandmother of Elizabeth Harris, Ashley Gennaro and Stacy Carpenter. Great-
grandmother of Alexander Geldert, Christopher Geldert, Cole Harris, Dylan 
Harris, Gavin Gennaro and Avery Gennaro. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Friday, 
February 10, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 
Lee Rd., Covington, LA 70435. Visitation from 1:00 PM until service time. 

Interment in Garden of Memories at a later date. 

A special Thank You to the staff of St Tammany Parish Hospice for their loving 
care.
