He was born on February 2, 1938 in Batavia, NY to the late Norman Francis Case and Enid Kendall Case. Ron is survived by his beloved wife, Gail Kornowski Case. He was the father of Lincoln Case (Heather), Dr. Tyler Case (Joanna), and Adam Case. Ron was the proud grandfather of Marjory and Olivia Case, and Helen and Julia Case. He was the brother of Frederek Case (Rosemary), Robert Case (Sandra), Scott Case (Mary), Dean Case, Norma Case Greiner, and Judy Case Hartman (the late Doug). Ron is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ron graduated from Batavia High and began his career in banking at M&T Bank in Batavia, New York. While working for 25 years at M&T, Ron continued his education attending The Rochester Institute of Technology, Canesus College and the University of Virginia. While at M&T, Ron pursued many charitable causes, serving as local chairman of the United Way, The Kiwanis Club, March of Dimes, and Chamber of Commerce and receiving the award Jaycee Key of the year. Ron also served as an interviewer for the candidates to West Point Academy. In 1978, Ron relocated to Covington, LA and worked at Jefferson Bank in Metairie, LA, eventually becoming president and CEO of First National Bank & Trust. He continued his service with the United Way, The Kiwanis Club, March of Dimes and other charitable organizations. Later, Ron worked for the Kirchman Corporation in Orlando, FL and Fiserve in Massachusetts, finally retiring back to Covington to be closer to his children and two grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 125 E. 19th Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 1:00 PM with visitation from 12:00 Noon until service time. Interment will be at St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery, St. Benedict, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. ===================
