Jerry A Whitfield, of Pearl River, LA, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 
2017, he was 86 years old. 

Beloved husband of the late Helen Whitfield. Survived by: his son, Jaye 
Whitfield; daughter, Paulette Church (Jim); grandchildren, Chris Church 
(Laurie); Tim Church (Val); Grace Eileen Whitfield; great grandchildren: Megan 
Schoeder (Will); Taylor Church; Courtney Church; Caleb Church; great-great 
grandchildren Aiden, James and Hannah Schoeder; and many nieces and nephews.

Son of the late Walter and Addie Whitfield.

Preceded in death by his son, Jerry Jr.; sisters, Landa and Helen; brothers, 
Russel, Donald, Stanley and RC Whitfield.

Jerry was the longtime manager of Boscoe’s Restaurant, owner of Casa Blanca 
Steak House, manager of Burger King in Hammond, LA and Picayune, MS.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), 
Slidell, LA, on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 1:00 P.M.

Interment will follow in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY, Slidell, LA.

Visitation at Honaker Funeral Home on Monday, February 13, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. 
until funeral time at 1:00 P.M.
