Nickie Ann Schreiber McAcy passed away unexpectedly, early this past Saturday 
morning peacfully in her sleep. 

She is survived by her partner of 12 years John "Jay" Ranna III; her mother 
Clare Rita Allen Schreiber; her three children Jeffrey James McAcy, Jamie McAcy 
Ratcliff, and Julie McAcy Anselmo; her son-in-law's Louis Ratcliff and John 
Anselmo; her beloved grandchildren Corbin Melancon, Kaylen McAcy, and Jack and 
Nicholas Ratcliff; her loving step children Dawn Ranna Harman, Dana Ranna 
Venizia, Diana Ranna Lazzario, and John "Jayson" Ranna; as well as all the many 
other lives she touched. 

You see, Nickie was unlike any other person you had ever met, she was a truly 
selfless human being. Our angel walked upon this earth with us for one week shy 
of 62 years, and each one of those days was a blessing to us all. All Hail, 
Saint Nickie!

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017, at St. Pius X Church, 
Spanish Fort Blvd., New Orleans. Visitation begins at 11:00 A.M. with a Noon 
Mass. 
A Celebration of her life will follow at Nickie and Jay's home on Filmore Ave.
