McLoughlin on March 20, 1959, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2017, surrounded by family and friends at the age of 57. He was originally from Chalmette, Louisiana though residing in Abita Springs. Kirk was an avid sportsman who thought of Louisiana as the perfect paradise for his favorite hobbies, which included fishing, duck hunting, camping and boating. Kirk is survived by his son Charles M. McLoughlin, his loving partner Jean H. Stall, whom he loved dearly, Jean’s loving children: Rachel Stall, Richard Stall and Robin Stall and Jean’s grandchildren: Jace, Zachary, Jayden, and Amelia. Brother of Alvin R. McLoughlin Jr. and wife Ellen, Laura C. Johns and husband Lloyd and the late Charles McLoughlin. Kirk’s surviving family members also include; Debra Modlin and husband Markus, Janet P. McLoughlin and partner Percy, and Judy M. Abene and husband Frank; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church located at 312 Lafitte St. Mandeville, LA 70448 on Friday, March 10, 2017.
