He was born, Thursday, June 15, 1961 in New Orleans, LA to Wayne Owen Weilbaecher, Sr. and Fay Marie Brauner-Weilbaecher. Wayne Weilbaecher, Jr. is survived by his Son, Jonathan W. Weilbaecher, his Mother - Fay Marie Brauner-Weilbaecher, Father-Wayne Owen Weilbaecher, Sr., Brothers - Kurt C. Weilbaecher, Kyle L. Weilbaecher, and Scott D. Weilbaecher. Also, Owen is survived by his girlfriend, Shirley Oliver, her son, Alex Oliver and his many loving nieces, nephews and other relatives. Owen, as everyone called him, grew up in the New Orleans, LA area. He graduated from Jesuit High School in New Orleans in 1979. In his professional career, Owen was a born salesman and that’s the only profession he truly loved. It was in his DNA because of his Dad and many Uncles and relatives who were in the sales industry. Soon after he graduated, he followed in his father’s footsteps and began his career as a car salesman at Mossy Motors of New Orleans for nearly 16 years. In 1990, he moved to Tucson, AZ and continued his career as a salesman, selling cars, bedroom furniture, mattresses and manufacturer homes for the next 13 years. He moved back to New Orleans in 2003 and continued as a salesman working at Kirshman’s Furniture and Bedmart until he could no longer work due to his failing health. Owen’s true love was LSU football, Beatles music and being surrounding by his close friends and family. Also, he loved playing music, especially the guitar. He even built his own personal sound studio while living in Tucson. If he wouldn’t have become a commercial salesman, he definitely would have been involved in the music industry in some capacity. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st. Avenue, Covington, La. 70433 . In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request donations be made to the American Liver Foundation: ===================
