Betty Joy Johnson Breland, age 81, of Slidell, LA passed away on Wednesday, 
April 19, 2017.

Beloved wife of the late Javhon Jerry Breland.
Mother of Sharon Breland Chavanel(Buddy), Darryl Breland(Tia), Sandy Breland 
McNamara(Dave) and Wayne Breland(Pam).
Sister of Robert “Bobby” Johnson, Floyd “Boogie” Johnson, and the late Patsy 
Ramagoz and Diane Ponder.
Also survived by 10 grandchildren, Donny, Donya, Heather, Jennifer, Jessica, 
Ryan, Kylie, Erika, Joshua, Addie and 11 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Breland was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 
a member of the Altar Society, St. Josephs’ Altar, and a volunteer with the 
Mount Olive Feeding Ministry in Slidell, and a member of the Magnolia 
Homemakers’ Club.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral

Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 400 Westchester Blvd., Slidell, 
LA, on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 11:30 A.M.

Interment in St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery, Covington, La..

Visitation at the church on Friday after 10:00 A.M. until funeral time.

Masses preferred.
