Michael “Mike” Wayne Dunnam, of Denham Springs, LA., passed away in his sleep 
on Thursday, April 13, 2017, in Mandeville, LA., at the age of 71. 

He was born in Picayune, MS., to Dossie Rae and Herman Dunnam. 

Father of four daughters, Kathy Talazac, Debra Turk, Kelly Dunnam, Kim LeBlanc 
and one son, Adam Dunnam. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and one 
great grandchild. 
Brother of Dale and Sherwood Dunnam. 

Mike proudly served his country for 23 years, first in the Vietnam War as a 
member of the 1st Airborne Cavalry, then as an Army recruiter and retired as a 
decorated Tops First Sergeant. 

Mike loved fishing, deer hunting, and his country. 

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Wounded 
Warrior Project, support.woundedwarriorproject.org/Donate in his honor.

Per his wishes, no funeral or public memorial service will be held.
