Neil Anthony Gendusa passed away at his home in Angie, LA. on Thursday, April 
27, 2017 at the age of 49.

A native of New Orleans, LA. and grew up in Kenner, LA. There he made many 
friends and developed the love for playing pool. Neil also enjoyed his family 
and spending time with his two grandsons.

Neil is survived by his two children, Theresa J. Gendusa and Jesse J. Melancon 
Sr., his grandchildren, John J. Brown, Jessie J. Melancon Jr., his mother 
Theresa G. Federico and stepfather Lynn J. Federico, grandmother, Theresa F. 
McNeill, sisters and brothers Donna (Richard) Boling, Chrissy (Kerry) Raines, 
Phillip (Tiffany) Gendusa, nieces and nephews Kayleigh, Shelby, Cooper, 
Miranda, Madison, and Mason. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins 
and friends.

Neil is preceded in death by the love of his life for 26 years Rita J. 
Melancon, his father Anthony D. Gendusa Jr., paternal grandfather and 
grandmother Anthony D. and Marion J. Gendusa Sr., maternal grandfather Charles 
N. McNeill, one uncle William N. McNeill and one niece Jessica M. Ricks.

Neil was a great friend to everyone he met. He will be greatly missed by all.

A visitation will be Monday May 8, 2017 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with services 
starting at 1:00 pm at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, 
LA.70435
