He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Carol Marie Cunningham Leach, and was the loving and proud father of his three children, Julie Marie Zvanut and her husband Robert, Sharon Ann Leach, and Brian Curtis Leach. He is also survived by his siblings Janice Siebers, Carolyn Carpenter and Pamela Lourwood, and five grandchildren, Benjamin Leach, Nathan Leach, Samantha Eroche, Jack Eroche and Eva Leach, and his many nieces and nephews. Curtis was born in St. Louis, MO and served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers prior to an over thirty-year career in Louisiana and Texas as a petroleum engineer and manager with Schlumberger Offshore Well Services. The arc of his life revolved entirely as a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather. Curtis radiated warmth to all he met, and the approachable man in his identifiable blue coveralls never knew a stranger. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial mass which will be held at St. Luke’s the Evangelist Church, 910 Cross Gates Boulevard, Slidell, LA at 1 pm Sat, May 6, 2017.
